I used to hunt bear up there and one year on aug. 1st I saw one of the biggest blacktail I've ever seen. Your not far from the area, it's thick though so it will be tough. Scout and find a nice place to put up a tree stand, maby get a trail cam and a salt lick to see what's out there. Good luck

What side of the river are you on? Concrete or Finney?

Finney Cr has some good deer hunting.

There's deer.  Just thick as crap.  They appear and disappear quickly.  Plant a bunch of apple trees!
Cut em!

Hunting deer near concrete hasn't been too prosperous for me.  I prefer the "Drive method" and have found that works best on or right adjacent to asphalt.  Also, the State/County assist by helping maintain my hunting area.   Gotta love those tax dollars at work!

Only real drawback is constantly having to replace broken headlights & turnsignals and the occasional grill, but hey, you have to pay to play I guess!!!

It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

Well, at least your just hitting deer and not elk or you would be replacing more then a turn signal.  :chuckle:
Just one more day
